Research Interests
My current work examines the role of social emotional competence in adult-child interactions in early childhood and its effects on relationship quality and children's learning. I develop educational programming designed to connect child development content to the early child care and education context. This permits me to explore the links between training, actual practices, and the competencies of adults who work with and care for young children.
